You're feeling so bad coz you care so much. Thank heaven there are people like you who can be such a comfort to us frail humans and our beloved ( & sadly,sometimes neglected ) pets. I feel for the terminally ill man. How tragic is that. The other couple, well, that's just ignorance and another tragedy, in a way.

And a hug from me. Nobody can win everytime and only good people care when they do not.

Our (now retired) senior vet had seen everything but even he was a little bit emotional when his trial to lower Parsley`s BP got the retinas to re-attach giving sight back to a blind cat
