I have learned something today - I did not know that "November" was the ninth month in the ancient Roman calendar and kept the name when January and February were added. So you see, the Romans did it too - fiddled around with November's status.

If you were born in November (as quite a few of you were) your birth flower is the Chrysanthemum, a wonderfully colourful flower that I have to admit I have never tried to grow.

I was born 25th November and my Birthstone is a Topaz!! Very nice. Have no problems with November at all. Love Lewes Bonfire celebrations (biggest in Europe!! some say in the World!!) and then my Birthday exactly a month before Christmas!! Love it
