I feel sorry for November!

Well, 1st of November folks.

I always feel a bit sorry for November. After Guy Fawkes, bonfires and fireworks, November just gets press-ganged into being "so many weeks before C-word". It has lost it's own character.

Lets give November back some of itself.

Please add to the list of things you associate with November that have nothing to do with Christmas!

Leaves fall and swirl in the wind, just like "Forever Autumn" by Justin Hayward.

Mh son was born in November - he will be 25 this year! Sadly I won't get to see him as he now lives in Australia, but November holds lots of happy memories

And pans of homemade soup, roaring fires and film afternoons when it's cold, windy and wet outside

I adore November crisp and clean. Its also my Mom's birthday and 2 of my nieces. So to me its a party month.
And of course fair weather dog walkers find it too cold to be out and about so more space for me
