I don't know how the ID from a microchip works. If he were lost and the finder took him to his/her vet to be checked, would it show your name and former address or that of your vet? If the latter, I'd just tell your vet your new address for now and wait until you're permanently settled to have a new chip installed. |

Some chip firms charge for any change to their database. It would probably be worth ringing the firm and asking the best way forward, seeing that it may not be a permanent move. That's what I would do. |
