Yes, I think you could be right Eileen ...... butternut squash I think you probably mean. Ecru is a bit of a "posh" term for it! Fawn, perhaps?

Yes, that's the one! I'm not a squash fan, except for zucchini. Do you think Mags meant crisps, they're sort of beigeish .....?

I thought butternut squash was orange? Well, the flesh at any rate . . .

Bread is beige - most white bread is off-white; and even some brown breads can be 'dark beige'
