I agree with Yola; probably just ruffled dignity; they hate to do something silly like that in front of us. But do keep us posted how he is.

Are they social animals, Tink? Three would be better than two? Sorry, don't know much about ferrets, just curious......

No worries, I love to talk about them.
Yes, they are very social animals. Among ferret owners, there is a saying "three is the perfect number". This is because ferrets get incredibly attached and bonded to each other and have been known to die of depression if one goes to the bridge and one is left behind. The theory is with three, if one passes the two bonded ferrets left will be able to survive by leaning on each other for companionship.

That was very interesting. One of the things I love about this forum is the new things we can learn, and how eager people are to share what they know.

His leg appeared to be a little sore yesterday (objected to having it touched) (not surprised considering he came down with a bang! )

Today he's been to the vets, his leg appears to be better (probably just bruised) he was a very good boy at the vets but I think he's scared of cars he kept shrinking back every time he saw one

I think with his fall it was shock more than anything else, he's fine today, sleeping at the moment.

I bet it was Merlin's magic that ensured his leg was perfectly OK

I know I'll miss Dylan! He was very good at the vets, just wanted to play!
