Re: I am a daft mare!

Oh was fine in the end Mags. Didnt even realise the nurse had done the injection!! Was only a tiny one in the arm (so didnt have to worry about the knickers!!! lol).

She said that I still might get an infection in the foot and if so to get some antibiotics from the doctor, but other than that ..

all ok!!!

Thanks for all your advice girls - now its done my mind is at rest as last night I was thinking I was gonna wake up and my leg had fallen off!!!

Re: I am a daft mare!

The anitcipation is usually worse than the actual event; glad it didn't hurt...as I mentioned, I'm horribly needle-phobic myself but with the chance of a fatal disease & dying in agony you're not left with much choice!! Hope the foot feels much better soon (((hugs)))

So true, so true.

I didnt feel her do the injection and even now I cant see a hole in my arm or any soreness now, so now I am wondering "did she do it right, if at all" as she told me to look the other way

Re: I am a daft mare!

Only just caught up with this thread Donna. Glad you had the injection, for what it's worth I totally agree with the advice you were given. You should be okay for 10 years now!!!
