Bit of a panic

it of a panic here at 5.25 this morning - Cleo woke me up I reached out in my sleep to stroke her and my hand was wet I thought she'd just been out in the rain when my hand touched the white sheet BLOOD

Panic is not the word I have never woken so quickly! Well the cyst on her shoulder had burst no idea why - maybe just got too big - anyhow pus and blood all over the sheet, the bed, the cat and my hands I got up cleaned her off with tissue and then sat up till 8.00 with her phoned the vet 8.30 and went the vets at 9.10am anyhow apparently its not uncommon and the cyst now can't be seen, all the pus and stuff must have come out Cleo is fine (has been all through) she lets me bath and clean it with boiled water gone cooler with a little salt in it. She's had a jab of antibiotics and peneillin I think. She's fine in herself but I am knackerd What a day.

Karen

Re: Bit of a panic

Scary stuff!! That reminds be about the time my boyfriend woke me up by coming into our bedroom at 11pm with some kitchen towel with blood all over it, saying I think Arthur has been hurt I have never woken up so fast!! but I also felt so sick, he had unfortunately been involved (we think) in a incident with a car, his pelvis was seperated from his spine and his face was a bit of a mess, we rushed him to the vets who were fantastic and he is all ok now.

They do get us worried don't they
