How to bribe little ones at ChristmasI have a really good way of getting Ceilidh to calm down or behave as it gets closer to Christmas. Really simple and fun! Go to the shops and buy some glitter and or sparkles. If she is getting a bit "high" I sprinkle some on the floor and tell her santa's fairies are watching her. Then show her the "fairy dust". I also do this at bed time. makes going to bed so much easier! If she has been good I put a small "gift" from the fairies under her pillow, a bangle or toy about 99p worth! and sprinkle fairy dust round. It makes the lead up to Christmas fun, and she's happy. Not got the answer for the rest of the year though.

Thats brilliant Jac, my dad used to go into the garden and rattle little bells, that was santa's sleigh, if we heard that we were all good...I only discovered he did it when he died... |
