Poor little ginger kitten

Yesterday we got a phone call about a cat with kittens that were living outside,we were told the mom was very thin - so they were put as a priority & someone went out last night to try & catch them. There are 4 kittens - 2 were nowhere to be seen, one was caught & the other ran off! The mom was very friendly & easy to catch, but as the other kittens couldn't be caught it was decided to let her go to keep her babies warm. They are about 5 weeks old. I have got the baby here, he was thin & grubby & covered in flea dirt. But now after some food, a comb, a bath & a frontline, a snuggle pad & a vet bed & he's happy as Larry.

Re: Poor little ginger kitten

Yes - but I didn't go last night as I was working really late (trouble with some pups & had to foster 11 pups out ) some other people went

I would like to go tonight as I am worried about the little poppets, I don't know the exact location but am trying to contact the lady who does & see if I can go out there.

Oh
I would have him like a shot if we were a bit nearer. Don't think the little soul needs a 150 mile journey at the mo.
Hope the others turn up and can be rescued too.

You are a star Smudge!

Re: Poor little ginger kitten

Good news is the other 3 kittens have been seen today - BUT mommy has moved to the neighbours garden now babies in tow.

We are going to hopefully get them soon. I have only just found out where they are & thought it best not to go now as the chances would be slim of catching them in the dark with just a torch. At least they are being fed.

My little man looks all lovely & snug now & loves his food! He is perched on top of his snuggle pad. (bless) He needs a name?

this will be the L litter.

Thanks for the offer of help Kazz - but I think we are ok this time, maybe some other time though
