In Pantomime it is tradition that the Fairy always enters from Stage Right and the Demon from Stage Left.
Having real flowers on stage is apparently very unlucky. Bizarrely, however, tripping over in the wings, or on your first entrance is regarded as very lucky!
According to superstition, the very last lines of a Pantomime should never be practiced in rehearsal, but should only be said for the first time on the opening night.
Green has always been regarded as an unlucky colour to wear on stage. Bit of a problem if the panto is Robin Hood!
Anyone who is caught whistling in a dressing room may be made to leave the room, turn around three times, knock and re-enter, as whistling is thought to bring bad luck!
