We are spending it at home but going to our daughter's house tomorrow for lunch.

We bumped into an old freind in the supermarket tonight and nearly invited her over as she was on her own tonight; however hubby has organized 2 lobsters and some champagne and has a lovely, romantic evening in front of a blazing fire mapped out . . . I have to admit, I'm quite looking forward to it so we decided not to invite her after all

we were going to spend the evening with friends - but hubby is now poorly so we are staying in.

Chilli con carne, sparkling champagne for us.
Prob in about 10 minutes, followed by an early night - my throat is back with a vengeance!
