to remind everyone that January will soon be gone, February will bring some nice days and after that we really will be into Spring, longer and warmer days and that wonderful feeling of renewal - breaking out of the winter chrysalis.

Danny in the Daffodils.
Danny was a Blue Cross rescue (having previously been a Greyhound and Lurcher Rescue
) who spent his last eight years in happy chaos with us. We lost him 1 June 2004. Doesn't he look young in the picture? Must have been soon after we got him (notice the lead....still not trusted just to sit and stay - little did we know he was a 40mph couch-potato!) so he is probably age 4 there. aaah.
