Cats Protection Radio Coverage

Just got an email from our co-ordinator to say that our local commercial radio station have a legal obligation to feature free of charge information from local charities (we didn't know this), and they would like to feature bulletins from Reading Cats Protection on their classic gold station.

This means they will read out information (chosen by us) a couple of times every day!! This is brilliant as it will allow us to promote local or national campaigns, events or even very hard-to-home cats.

I would suggest anyone involved with their local animal (or other) charities to get onto their local radio station and see if you can strike a similar deal!

What a great idea, any publicity is great. Hope it helps to promote events, raise funds and re-home more cats!

That's great news. Lets hope it gets the message across to more people and hopefully finds some much needed homes for all those cats and kittens.

Sounds really good!
Does CP do anything to facilitate free/discount neutering? If so I think that should also feature heavily in the ads. If not, maybe it could give another contact point.
