pet Id tags

I thought I would just warn you all, if you get any pet ID tags from ebay, DONT (PLEASE) ge them from a seller called petvetmed.

AFTER the end of the auction he tells you that instead of paying by cheque you must send an international money order to canada!!!
I ahd already sent my payment off to the address ebay gave me, and cos i did this and didnt send it to canada he said he refused to accept it, and wouldnt even tell me if it arrived.
he then went on to say he had never got the cheque, but it WAS cashed!!!

I kow ebay cann be a nightmere anyway, but thought i would wanr you about this particualr guy. As it was under £15 i cant even get ebay to do anything about it.

I only got them from ebay,or tried to i should say, cos my local key cutting place charge 7.99 each one, and my boys all get chipped next week anyway.

Re: pet Id tags

Thats awful. I hope you put something on the feedback section about it. There is a pet shop just down the road from me if you like I could get a few for you and send them on to you. Dont think they charge more than a few pounds. The options there if you want it.

Re: pet Id tags

I sell on ebay and I hate when this kind of thing happens to people. I had a look at this sellers auction for the id tags and it dosen't say anywhere that you have to mail the payment to Canada.

The reply you got from ebay is absolute rubbish - I would definatley get back in touch with them and also leave neg feedback for this seller because I think he acted very badly.

btw you can get those id tags from pets at home at a good price.

Re: pet Id tags

What a nasty thing to happen to you!! I have ordered a few times on e-bay, but this makes me nervous about doing so in the futureI suppose it's too small an amount to go to Small Claims Court (do you have this in the UK?) but it is awful to be ripped off like this.

Re: pet Id tags

I am always concerned about buying on Ebay. Try again to complain, and definately leave negative feedback.

eBay can do something about it.

Go into the 'Community' section and post on there your problem. You get loads of helpful advice as to what you cna do about it. I'd def leave major negative feedback for this seller

Re: pet Id tags

All I can suggest is you leave negative feed back for this seller.
I have bought a few things from e bay but always felt let down as they didnt seem as good as there picture so I stopped.
