It was primarily a dog behaviour course, but he also specialises in cat behaviour & used lots of cat slides to demonstrate how a mother communicates with her offspring & how the messages are sent out. & how those early messages have huge meanings. It's fascinating. Started off talking about wolves / packs & how Wolf packs work together & the misconception of how body language of animals is often misunderstood. Then talked about how groups of dogs developed from the wolf / then types / then breeds. Then about communication messages & the importance of being exposed to as many things as possible from a young age. (& the reasons why) This was demonstrated in short films of wolf behaviour/ slides of cats. |
