Can't be true??? Can it?

"FAT CAT JAIL
Owners face £5,000 fines or jail if their cats get FAT or go out at night. New laws will clamp down on people who do not follow strict rules on how to feed, walk and toilet-train ALL pets. The Animal Welfare Bill's code of conduct is expected to sail through Parliament. Leaflets will be sent to owners."

This was in a daily newspaper today!!

As usual, we have sensationalist media latching onto a "good story" and winding people up with no real cause.

This article, from the Times newspaper (<<< clicky) seems a bit more reasonable.

I always make sure Cassie is in for the night so I will be ok there..
I think I will fail on the overweight bit though.....Cassie is getting a little dumpling as she doesn't like going out in the winter!
