Off to the vets with Eddie.

Well I have had a quick glance on here but now I have to go and take Eddie to the vets. I think he has got a Sequestra developing on his eye. I hope it isn't as his dad had to have an operation on his. He won't let me near enough to get a good look so god knows how the vet is going to get two lots of dye in his eye and then examine it.

Persians are very prone to these. Oh well thats the pleasure of owing Persians.

Re: Off to the vets with Eddie.

Well unfortunately it is a sequestra forming on his eye and quite a large one but the good news we have got it early. I have had to leave Eddie at the vets as they are going to operate on him tomorrow morning and take it away. They will then stitch his third eyelid over the eye to help protect while it is healing. I have to ring them about 4 o'clock. It is quite expensive, £180 pounds but he is worth it.
For those asking about what it is the link Mags put up is excellent. Far better than me trying to explain it.
Thanks for everyones best wishes.
Fran, Eddie isn't one of my studs. He is a boy I bred but had to take back along with a younger girl I had also bred from a so called friend. Neitherof them will be go anywhere else they are staying right her with the rest of the Tilsie gang.
I will let you know how he is tomorrow.
