Patch and Angel (none cat)

I thought i would just post some pics of my fish as i feel that they are being left out, with Tigger getting all the lime light lol.
Patch is the orange one (he did have black spots on it, hence the name!) and Angel is the white one, its was the same colour as patch when i first got it!
patch n angel are 8 years old (9 this year) and about 8 cm long.

Eight years old??? When I was small I was lucky if a goldfish survived 8 days!!!

How long does a typical goldfish live then? How big do they grow?

Re: Patch and Angel (none cat)

not sure how long goldfish live my dad had goldfish when he was younger that lived for 5 years. my friend won goldfish at a fair and that was 9 years ago n they are still living! At the same fair i won a goldfish i named him Jordan Taylor (Hanson) he only lived for a week and i was so gutted when he died. he was so pretty with a big long fancy tail.
I think goldfish just grow to the size of the fish tank!

I found this link about the oldest goldfish in the uk.
