Will be leaving CP for a weekJust thought I'd let you all know that I wont be here next week. I know upsetting isnt it LOL I am off to Wales on a surprise visit to help put up some sheds/pens for a woman who rescues cats and parrots. The very same woman who rescued Bernie and made sure he was delivered safely to me. She has had a very difficult time of it and has had more than her fair share of heartache. She is not a charity and does all her rescue with very little help or reward. Anyway, she has had all the materials for the sheds/pens for almost a year now and alot of promises to help her get them up but none of them have materialised. Graham and I are going down to get them up for her with some help. I am a little worried about leaving my 3 but my very good friend has said she will stay here with them and make sure all is ok. Will hopefully have some fab pics for you all when I get back.

Well one good turn deserves another. And I could do with a short break. Graham and i normally take separate holidays, if we get one at all, coz of the cats and other complications. We had intended to take a short break abroad for my 40th but could get any one we really trusted to look after the cats and the house. Will be good to get away and spend some time with Graham and we are both really looking forward to it. We have never met Dawn, the rescue woman, before so its quite exciting too. |

That's good of you Elaine, my husband used to say " a penn'orth of help's worth a pound of pity", which i suppose means better to do something, than give words.. I hope the weather is not too bad. |
