It is fun to watch and actually it does give me a warm feeling inside to know they can play nicely with other breds, dogs and they have their own doggie friends, daft aren't I but honestly not all of Sal's friends would tolerate Tess but they are getting better now she's that little bit older. However both of my two are good with youngsters/pups. Thank God. But if the going gets a little bit rough/tough somehow my two seem to know when the other is outgunned well more Tess really she especially as a pup put herself in positions where she got a little uppity (I think beause Sal is so tolerant of her) but if a dog (even one of Sal's friends) put the pup Tess in her place a bit to strongly - in Sal's opinion she would intervene putting herself between Tess and the other dog dogs. And Tess soon learnt strike and run technique attack the other dog 9always in fun) then run for the defence of Sal - worked when she was tiny but as she got to about 4 months or so Sal let her fight her own battles and the pup soon learnt her manners.
