Re: Daily Shred Thread / Wednesday

Good morning!! It's very overcast here and threatening rain from some big black clouds. I just wish the weather would brighten and warm up just a teensy bit - it'd make all the difference

I need to start setting the alarm in the morning as this is the 3rd morning in a row that I've woken at 7.20, leaving just an hour to get out of the door!!! Thankfully it's been managed, but just coz Domi's been co-operative; I dread to think how long it would take when he's refusing breakfast, refusing getting dressed etc

Fran - what's a support dog? I've obviously missed this in another thread - is he like a guide dog?

Re: Daily Shred Thread / Wednesday

morning all. Sun shining here, and not too chilly.
Elliot seems to have broken his fever, so I am off out to shops once Ryan wakes up. Ryan is coming with us. I rang school and said he finshes his antibiotics at lunch when can he come back, they said not until at LEAST 24 hours after he finshes them, never heard of that before but there ya go.

Got a trip to the pet shop, need bunny food, straw, royal canin and gotta get some milk too.

kids both seem to be feeling better. I'm not yet, but gotta carry on.

hope everyone else that had bugs are getting better.

Hi Yola...yes similar to a guide dog. He will actually be a Medical Assitance dog. He will help with jobs round the house like fetching the telephone and taking the washing out of the washer etc.. The dog will also be trained to alert her before she has a 'blackout'

I did post about him in the Pictures thread. I think under the heading Meet Finnigan

Re: Daily Shred Thread / Wednesday

It's been a really nice morning here. I did a half-hearted tidy of the garage early (tidied up the 'fire things', as the fire is no longer on, it being Spring) and then went to the allotment. It was great, the recent rain has left the soil in perfect nick, and the sun was shining. I was too hot working in a fleecy jumper, no jacket. I did wear a rather fetching pair of 'elephant wale' cords that I purchased from the charity shop, especially for gardening. So much warmer than jeans, but not terribly trendy!

Back to a long shower, nail scrub and hairwash and am now fixing up with our Canadian friends for their trip over in the summer. They are coming to Stockholm for the annual long weekend there (end of July) and are then planning on a visit to one of the new Baltic States, then to Dublin, then back to us. Sounds great.

Re: Daily Shred Thread / Wednesday

Evening everyone

No hangover from last night so that is good. Work mega busy!! So many house sales - cant complain!!!

Got a call from school to say Emma had hurt herself and she has damaged her ankle again. She hurt it a year or so ago and it is always weak now. Always hurts. They say she has stretched ligaments etc but it never seems to heal and she has such weird shaped ankle now.

Oh well, will keep her walking on it as that is what it needs apparently!
