morning everybody. Didnt sleep much, as usual, last night. Gotta go shopping later but cant go until a special delivery letter arrives ( money from my mum bless her to get the kids some food) No plans other than try and tidy the house a LOT hope everyody is doing ok. Waiting for Transco to come and change my gas meter. Gorgeous day here, sun is shining and it's quite warm. Gonna make a start on the kiddies Easter bonnets which have got to be in school on Monday. My brain is working overtime at the moment with ideas which look good on paper but not so sure about how they are going to look once made. Ah well best go clear the table so I can have some space to make them. Have a good day everyone |

Afternoon all. Trying to recover from my boyfriend's birthday yesterday  Bless him. He got plastered down the pub (we do it so if one of us gets legless, the other automatically doesn't) and then spent two hours telling me that the most wonderful part of his birthday was my son (not biologically his, but thinks of him as daddy) walking into the room with two presents, one of which he'd wrapped himself with 72 layers of sticky tape and saying "HAPPY BUTTY MY MATT!" and giving him the presents  Son is watching Bob the Builder and I'm contemplating whether he's old enough for the Dark Crystal - he doesn't sit and watch TV very often so I may well take advantage of it while he's willing to! |

Ooooo, Skeksis! Can be scary, I suppose. Don't think I could have watched it at his age, but I was very easily frightened of telly-things. : / Working, packing and walking Rover today. Wish he could come with me, think he'd like the tombs and things. And the cat carpet in Dahab.  |

I have taken advantage of the glorious weather here today and taken the dogs for a splash about in the nearby stream. Had to wash them down after we came home but they thoroughly enjoyed themselves  Hubby has gone to play in a golf tournament today so he won't be back until quite late. Soon be time to pick Em up from school and go up to the stables... |
