Morning all, light drizzle here which seems to be passing over. Got a busy morning running Em and her friend to and from netball training. Her friend is coming back here for a while afterwards. Got to get to the feed merchants before they close at lunch time for horse feed.

Morning everybody,

No idea what I am up to today. Looks like it is going to rain soon, might go outside and do some gardening but I wanted to do that tomorrow. I did some retail therapy yesterday so I don't fancy shopping.

Off to Egypt in a few hours. Hope *that* isn't a hoax... been looking forward to traveling again. Just two weeks, but at least it's a language I don't speak, another culture and climate, and a chance to do something completely different every day.

Rover's packed himself as hand-luggage twice already. If he stays out of my backpack, there might be room enough for you.
Love to bring him, but he's going to stay with two good friends in their new flat that he helped to decorate. You haven't done wall-papering until you've fought a cat for a plumb-line weight! He likes my mates, they love him so I'll probably be the only sad and unhappy creature. I'll miss him loads. Next time he *is* going, even if I have to smuggle him along inside my coat. Not having my holidays spoiled by feeling pathetic.

I wrote a phone-book sized tome with "he likes this" and "when he does this he means" and "don't let him" then came to my senses and summed it up in one page, some don'ts (lilies!) but mostly phone-numbers of the vet, the insurance company and a few mates who are very knowledgeable cat-people, just in case. Great believer in preparing for everything as it is usually the one thing you've left out that happens <sigh>. I know he'll be safe and happy, I'm just being egotistical and thinking of how there will be a "reserved for Rover" emptiness in my life for two weeks. Pointless explaining - you'll already know. I shall have another cuppa, a final scout of what I've forgotten (bin-bag) then I'd better bring better-half a bacon butty and leave Rover to wake him (to defend his sandwich, works quite well).

morning all. Sun is shining, weahter is sweet.

Well, almost. It not too cold, but is windy here.

No plans for during the day, apart from cutting up the new fleece material we brought yesterday for the kittens.Ryan chose bright yellow!!!!!!! Poor kittens, hope they don't mind.
It was only 3.99 a metre. I would ahve prefered grey, so am going back monday to get somemore. Kids r wanting to amke some cushions too, so i said i'll get them some for that as well.

Hubby SHOULD be here tonight, long as the car "doesnt break down again". If it deosnt then tomorrow we are going to bedford to the "stuff until your sick" chineese, as ryan calls it!
4.50 an adult and £3 a kid for eat as much as you want!!! can't go wrong. It's fab cos kids can pick what they want to eat. They dont chacnge the dishes though, we beeen going over a year and they always had the same dishes on, but there is a wide choice and it is very nice.
Shame they dont do crispy duck in those pancake things, love that!
