Its nearer to Jac than me Mags, there are a lot of people in this area who keep chicken and ducks, they will have to move them inside now...

this is so sad

I am so worried for these poor birds - I wonder if there is a way for them to get antibiotics into their food to help protect them from it? Don't know if its possible.

Its scary how close it is though - I go caravanning quite close to there in Shell Bay which is right next to Anstruther.

I just hope people don't panic and start mis treating birds and cats because of it

woops, didnt see this and posted on daily thread!!!

awfull isnt it, cos as i said on daily thread , there are going to be people in a panick now, and birds will be culled no doubt, cats will be re-homed etc.
such an impact it'll have.
