If you won a million pounds...If you won a million pounds would you Leave your job or stay at work? Move house or stay pit and extend? Leave the country? Retrain for another job? Buy/start a bussiness? What would you do? Karen

Oh, I'd need three. Half a million for my better half's family to share, same for my family, same for better half to spend on silly things, one million to put somewhere safe for a rainy day. Part of my share would be spent on a small house, the rest - don't really know. I'd stay at work. I need to be useful in some way and I need the challenge. I'm useless at running a company - I tried some years back, so not that. I would try to work something out at my vet's clinic to train as a veterinary nurse, I've always wanted to do that, though. Generous donations to various charities, of course. Holidays would stay the same, I like roughing it and camping. I have all the kit I need for my hobbies. Though perhaps an ultra-light so I could fly down to Fran and exercise her horse.  All in all - it would be a waste of good money if I won the lottery.  And somehow, despite being discriminatory, you still have to actually *play* the lottery to win... So unfair! |

hmmm well I would leave work, buy another house, do some improvements to the one we have, by a replacement car for our old Mondeo, invest some money in a veterinary practice, give some of the interest from the capital to charity. |

I wouldn't want anything exciting. I'd just like a house with land large enough for us to keep our horse at home with us. A nice holiday for the children would be lovely too.. I'd give some to my family and to animal charities. |

buy a nice big live apon camper van, have a large cage type thing made up so i could take the cats with me, and travel around, we have moved 9 times in 10 years (i know  ) so a campervan would save us having to pack up our stuff and just live a quiet life on the rest of the money.sod treating the family they all earn their own cash and have managed up till now.  |

first i would buy my own house a nice size but nothing to big (4/5 bedroom) with a bit of land but again nothing to big still in Wales but not around here, i would want to go some where and start again, i would buy something abroad some where nice and warm not to hot just warm. i would not give any money to my family as non have been there for me i would buy my ex some where of his own. i would maybe start my own business if i thought it would work and help a few friends out |

I'd pay off all my debts including the mortgage, pay off my sisters mortgage for her & donate some money to cat and dog rescues. |

I would buy a lovely house in the middle of nowhere and is surrounded by loads of land. I would definately start an animal sanctuary and I would also have an educational unit attatched so schools can get a day to learn about animal welfare and respecting the countryside and give them the chance to have hands on experiance with helping animals - cats dogs and wildlife. That would be my dream life.... |
