Ouch! And after she had tried to be as careful as she could as well. : / Glad it's not worse (though it hurts). Not exactly the pool-dip they wanted, either. |

Ouch I'm sorry, Smudgley. Glad she's ok, but it's never nice when your child gets hurt, regardless of whether or not it's dangerous... Big hugs to you, she's in my thoughts. |

Sorry to hear about your daughter Smudgley......it will be sore for a while but as it didn't blister, hopefully there will be no scarring. Keep us informed how she is....and ((((hugs)))) to you and your daughter... |

Shes back already & munching on a McDonalds they sent them straight in as it was a burn. Nurse said John did the right thing to dunk her in the cold water & leave her there for ages (even though it made her dither) as it stopped it from blistering. She has put some cream on & strapped it all up & she has an appointment to go back tomorrow at 10.02am to get it rechecked. Same nurse will be on & John said she was really good. Looks like no serious harm done - just sore. |

Good and quick thinking on your hubby's part. I'm happy your little one will be OK. Burns are scary but hopefully it'll be a lesson for her to be even more careful, poor thing. |
