Daily Shred Thread / Thursday

Morning all, it looks set to be another scorching hot day here! More pottering around the garden me thinks. Going to jet wash the decking and the garden furniture today.

Hope you all have a lovely day and have lovely weather

Lovely cloudless day again.

Back to the allotment - I am in the midst of reclaiming a very overgrown patch. I've had it under landscape fabric, to keep the weeds down but the time has come for cold steel and elbow grease. Ah, my aching muscles!

Re: Daily Shred Thread / Thursday

Beautiful, warm and sunny today after yesterday's torrential downpours and storms! Just got into the office after taking Domi to the doctors as he's got some persistent rashes that won't shift. I now have some anti-fungal an hydrocortizone cream to see if this will move them.

I need today (or soon) to book my 4D scans. These are the life-like ones, where you can really, really see the baby's features clearly. I'm going to take my step-daughter along with us as she's been really sweet about both Domi (now and when he was tiny) and this new little one too. She's quite chuffed to be asked, which is nice

Hopefully this afternoon will be able to paint my gate green as yesterday's stroms put pay to that. As I've also recharged my camera battery I'll take a pic of my mad, pink/red hair to show you all sunglasses at the ready please

Beautiful day here too, which is lucky as I forgot to hang the laundry until about an hour ago And my son needs his nursery t-shirt which is hanging out to dry!

I am going off to the rescue this afternoon to look at a 9-week-old black and white boy. I heard about him on Monday when I rang, then again on Tuesday and started feeling bad for not taking him, but thought "Well, he's only ickle, next time I call he'll have been snapped up" but when I rang today (skipped yesterday) he was still there... So I rang my friend with the car and he's more than willing to take me in to see him

I figure as he's still small and there'll be a few females soon enough, it'll be easy enough to introduce them to each other. We'll see what his personality is like.

I am of course trying not to forget my camera

What a kitten-centred forum this is becoming - something to do with the time of year no doubt. Good luck Snoof!
Phew it was hot work this morning - really should have gone for my shower before I sat doown to catch up with the world - saw the new pics of my grey ghost, so I had to come on and post them, didn't I?
So, shower, lunch (cold lamb cultets and salad picked 30 minutes ago) and an afternoon of serious relaxation listening to the cricket in the garden!

I went to town this morning, depite having a REALLY Stiff back from gardening over the past few days. took me 2 1/2 hours, normally takes an hour lol

Got TONNES of air frehsners and stuff, got one of thoe threevoultion plug ins, must say so far it's fab. Also got a refill for the air wick thing I got stuck on the wall, got that set to squirt every 30 miuntes. Then I got a nutradol gel air thingy to go near each cat loo, try and kill some bad odour germs. Then I got odour elimintaing spray too.
I cant stnad my house smelling of cats, and notice in the warmer weather it can smell a little. Also got shake n vac in lily of valley and magnolia scent, very nice.

So now I am happymy home smells clean and fresh!
Must get one of them portable things for batjroom, and want another threevoultion for upstairs hallway now, but they only had one spring flowers one left. I didnt fancy garden cuttings smells, i assocaite the smell of grass with hayfever lol

It is a lovely, sunny, warm day here after last night's heavy storms......no need to water the garden today!

Went to the garden centre this morning and bought some tomato plants.....

Enjoy the sunshine (if you have it!) everyone!

Well its a lovely day here I am off to hospital soon then on to work, this will be the first time I've worked after the treatment I have been working before then going and then coming home to rest but today we are really short so I am puling my weight we have one off with a broken shoulder and arm she came off her horse. we have one off with a fractured skull he was pushed in a nightclub two weekends ago, he had 18 staples in his head was kept in hospital from the Friday night till the Tuesday as he was unconcious for 5 hours now we have one on holiday this week and one who ahs salmonella poisioning and has also been in hospital.

But they are all on the mend so happiness. The weather is good and the gazzebo built by my Dad is finished well pretty much. Have a good afternoon all.

Karen

Glorious day here again, both my kiddies have gone off to school in t-shirt and shorts. Louise has got PE so thought she just aswell wear her shorts to school and Thomas has been nagging all winter to wear his school shorts so today he had the opportunity. It was really warm here at 9ish when I took the kids to school.

I went into town and bought my self a new pair of sandals as I don't own any, hopefully, tomorrow I'll be going with my mother-in-law to finish pressie shopping for louise's birthday
