£2 coins!!

I decided a while ago to save £2 coins. I did have a tub that I used to keep them in but it was getting lighter . Now I just keep them in my underware drawer. Anyway, I thought I had a few and saw some lovely trees at the local garden centre the other day. I just counted them and I have over £50!!! Yipee, I'm going to the garden centre this afternoon.
It's a good way to save without really missing anything. Plus you get a nice surprise every now and again.

Re: £2 coins!!

I have saved £2 coins since they first came out and have never spent one in the shops.
I save them up and buy Premium Bonds with them.......it is surprising how they add up!

I have also saved the 50p coin since that first came into circulation...that goes towards the PBs too.

It really is a good way of saving and as Jac says, you get a lovely surprise when you see how much is in the 'pot'!
