I could have been killed in my sleep!On sunday night I waslked into the hall. I could smell burning. It was coming from under the stairs. I got the kids to put off everything. I traced it back to the fuse box. Two wires coming from the electric metre were hot. Got someone from the electricity board this morning and this is what he found.  I think we had a lucky eascape dont you.

Its the two main cables Yola. I was accused by my stepson of being nurotic. That there was nothing wrong! |
