The things kids say..

My nephew (2yrs) visited another of my sisters recently, he said to her

"Where is your conservatory?"

she replied "I havent got one"

"Where do you keep the toys?" (his toys are in the conservatory)

She replied "I havent got any toys, I havent got a baby to play with them, shall I get a new baby?"

"No, you cant have a new baby"

She said "Why not?"

" Because you havent got any toys!!"

Kids eh!!
Dawn.

So true Mags. With all this rain, I've been singing 'It's raining; it's pouring, Dominik is snoring' to the little fella.

Unprompted today, he came running in from the garden when the rain started and sang to me 'It's raining, it's pouring; mummy's snoring'. Thanks son

I love their innocence, sweetness, humour and unconditional love at that age

Awww how sweet are those stories.

My fave one is my pair were in the car and Thomas was moaning so Paul said 'Thomas you belly aching again boy?' and Louise say's 'Mine is cos I'm hungry'

We just looked at each other and laughed, well what else could we do?

That's really sweet Dawn.

I remember when we moved to Leicestershire from Harrow, I bought some red Leicester cheese. My daughter, about 5 at the time said "I don't like this Leicester cheese, I prefer South Harrow cheese!!!"

Awwwwwww, bless!

On Monday, Random and I went to visit our friend Hendryk (who will be in The Play's The Thing on Channel 4 when it airs!). Hendryk has lots of Doctor Who paraphernalia, so Random was in seventh heaven

I was attempting to have a conversation with Hendryk when Random pointed at something and said, "What's that?" and Hendryk tried to finish his sentence when Random said sternly, "Shush! I'm talkin Henryt!"
