the result was a very enjoyable afternoon out. The boys loved it, we saw some great animals, lovely dogs, bunnies, mice etc etc. Got lots of advice on grooming princess better, fostering, and even becoming a vet! (ryan is interested) Some GORGEOUS cats there. All ones suitable for us are reserved though, but it was lovely to see so many waiting to go to new homes. I think the kids thought theyd been to a farm or zoo or something. I did try tucking a sheltland pony in my handbag, but even MY handbag isnt THAT big |

Bring a backpack next time. They're...<frantic thinking>..good for keeping the grass short. Nice to "see" a shelter that is an enjoyable experience. No suitable animals helps, of course, but good to see other people are adopting cats as well. |
