Any one know anything about catproofing gardens?

Wondered if any one had any info to share on cat proofing gardens. Since bernie and Eva are begining to tolerate eachother more, it wont be long before we would like for Bernie to be able to share the garden with her too.
The problem is, we have a high boundary wall and Eva is not the most agile puss, so she isnt able and has never shown any desire to get up onto the sheds which would allow her onto the wall and possibly out of the garden. Bernie on the other hand, I think would be able to get up and over the wall.
As we live in the city centre, I would fear for Bernies safety. So I'd like to start planning for the best options as it really doesnt look like we will be moving any time soon to a more suitable area.
Thanx in advance.

(Border)Dawn has done this Elaine. Here's one post, with a reference to a previous post within it. She's deleted the pics, so you may have to 'pretty please' her to replace
Good luck
