Nice closeup of the fuchsia! More pics when it's in full bloom, please? Never saw anything like that rose; does look as if buds are coming from the center...??? What kind of jasmine is that; doesn't look like winter jasmine to me...?? |

I have no idea what Jasmine it is, the label just said Jasmine I'm gonna keep an eye on that rose head and see what happens. Will keep you informed. I will definately be taking more piccies of the fuscia once it's in full flower. It'll look lovely and can't wait |

Moli - The two roses are the same variety, same bush actually. I've discovered another rose in my garden which I didn't know I had. Been here 4.5 years and only now found the rose It's growing through the hedge so once I can get some decent pics of it I'll post them. |

That peachy colour is lovely. In the first pic I think that you may have some rose gall in the flowers. Have you seen sort of 'hairy knots' on the stems of roses sometimes? - particularly wild/dog rose. can't remember the country name for it ... somebody's pincushion maybe? It's caused by a little wasp laying eggs in the stem. I think the odd 'things' in the flowers could be where it has layed in the flower bud. I feel a google coming on again! EDIT Robin's Pincushion. Here it is on a stem |
