My roses and other plants

Found this very unusal, none of my other rose flowers seem to have these. They look almost like more rose buds in the flower. Sorry the quality isn't great, told you my camera was naff

My fuscia, only got the one flower at the moment but I have tons of buds starting to show on it. Can't wait for it to come into flower properly

Another one of my rose

The Peruvian Lilies, really growing well

Lastly but by no means least...my jasmine also growing well

Re: My roses and other plants

Nice closeup of the fuchsia! More pics when it's in full bloom, please? Never saw anything like that rose; does look as if buds are coming from the center...??? What kind of jasmine is that; doesn't look like winter jasmine to me...??

I have no idea what Jasmine it is, the label just said Jasmine

I'm gonna keep an eye on that rose head and see what happens. Will keep you informed.

I will definately be taking more piccies of the fuscia once it's in full flower. It'll look lovely and can't wait

Re: My roses and other plants

Moli - The two roses are the same variety, same bush actually.

I've discovered another rose in my garden which I didn't know I had. Been here 4.5 years and only now found the rose It's growing through the hedge so once I can get some decent pics of it I'll post them.

Re: My roses and other plants

That peachy colour is lovely.

In the first pic I think that you may have some rose gall in the flowers. Have you seen sort of 'hairy knots' on the stems of roses sometimes? - particularly wild/dog rose. can't remember the country name for it ... somebody's pincushion maybe? It's caused by a little wasp laying eggs in the stem. I think the odd 'things' in the flowers could be where it has layed in the flower bud. I feel a google coming on again!

EDIT
Robin's Pincushion.
Here it is on a stem
