Daily Shred Thread / Thursday

Morning all, lovely sunny day here again Had traumas last night, went to put the rabbits to bed and Fudge had escaped He's like Hoodini despite a 6ft high fence all the way around his run. Don't ask me how he got out Smudge has the run of the garden and never tries to go anywhere, Fudge has to be confined, he has a 20ft run with a 6ft high fence around it but he still occasionally manages to get out to go visiting the neighbours

Anyhow, after an unsettled night as Claude wouldn't come in either (he was charging around between ours and the neighbours garden), he obviously knew where Fudge was and wouldn't leave him. I got up this morning to Fudge back in his hutch and Claude in the porch. Wonder what adventures they have been up to together Thank goodness they are both home safe and sound

Not much happening here today, hope you all have a lovely day

Sounds a fun night Fran! Glad everything turned out well in the end.
We have the sun back again today, so i feel a day of gardening coming on. Then a colleague of OH will arrive tonight, so we will eat out, he will stay over and then he and OH are off to Amsterdam tomorrow morning, till Sunday. Wonder if he'll bring me anything back? Tulips? Clogs? Cheese? Gin? A mouse (in a windmill)?
Have a good day everyone.

Morning everyone, the sun is back! It's a beautiful day here so, like DM, the garden beckons!

Cassie seems a lot brighter this morning although she still isn't eating properly....maybe it is the weather

Fran ~ Glad everything was ok this morning and Fudge and Claude were back where they belong!
DM ~ Enjoy your gardening!

Poor Cassie - it's been a while. Guess you may be thinking of a vet trip if she doesn't pick up after the weekend? It's a dilemma isn't it, especially the lac of appetite. The more you find lovely treats to tempt her the more likely she is to turn up her nose at humdrum every day foods. Hope it's just the weather blunting her appetite.

Nice bright day here today. Taken Moli for a walk to the post box and back and was stopped by an elderly lady who'd never seen a cat on a lead before and thought it was wonderful

Waiting for a parcel to be delivered then off into town to do some shopping as got nothing here for tea tonight.

Might finish painting madams bedroom if I can muster up enough energy

Re: Daily Shred Thread / Thursday

Our air conditioning unit was delivered at the office yesterday so no more airless days . . . it really does chill the space down very well

Sun is shining and it's lovely and warm at the moment, no doubt humidity will set in some time soon

Oh - I posted an add on Gumtree yesterday (which is a kind of town-by-town community place offering jobs, accommodation, personals etc) to see if I could find someone cheap to break up our concrete path. The response was huge!!! Mainly students and people looking for odd jobs . . . so looks like I can get it done for about a 1/4 of what I'd been quoted by regular builders
