Don't you just love being volunteered for things?

Its my aunts 40th b;day bash next saturday....and we have various relatives coming over/up/down to Coventry-and my dear mother decided to volunteer me to do the train station runs on saturday afternoon.....
So next sat im expected to-babysit in the morning, from 12 onwards help set up the venue for the party, at about 3 start going to the train station to fetch folk AND i am expected to do shopping to get something to wear on the day-jesus christ my life is far from dull at times!

Re: Don't you just love being volunteered for things?

Ok so do u wanna see my 'roter' for the day *which i was given today*
6:30- get up, changed, have breakfast and walk dogs
8:30-return home, clean out litter trays and then set about mucking out the hutches
10:00-Get changed into 'none animal' clothes and go off to babysit for some of my aunts grandchildren
12:00-quick break for lunch, then get dropped off by the aunt whom i was babysitting for to join the setup for the party
"roughly" before 3:00-get on the bus and have to go ALL the way across town to the train station to pick up various relatives from connecting train rides from 3:00 to 3:45. Then get a taxi all the way back to my g-grans house where they are staying
4:30-QUICK dash into town (again!) to get the jacket from debenhams, and MUST be back for half past 5
5:30-must be home by now at the latest to sort out the "little things" at home
6:00 make way over to my aunts house, i'm attending the party with them as 1) free transport and 2) easier.
7:00-leave aunts house for the party, and after this-enjoy myself and forget what a filled day i've had!!!

Re: Don't you just love being volunteered for things?

Thanks Mags-i will get through, i hope!!
I am taking this week to be very organised and get ev erything done so on Saturday i have no worries other than what the day beholds!
Am at the hospital three times this week, but in spare time will do all the 'chores' and the awful, AWFUL coursework
Wednsday is my aunts (well g-aunt, but shes only approaching 40 so great not appropriate lol) actual birthday, and it shall be spent mom, three aunts (g-aunts really), my g-gran and i enjoying a lazy day with cake, food and in moms word a "bottle of plonk".
Plenty of time to prepare, just hope it runs smoothlly
