DAILY THREAD - Tuesday 20th June 2006

Morning all.
Going to be another bad day here for hayfever!
Ryan woke at 4 am with a runny eye again.
We had to get him some eye drops yesterday and he was off school as it was stinging him, very swollen,
and generally making him very miserable.

Elliot was also awake on and off all night, he hasnt been well since friday.
He has a "non-specific virus"
as I KNOW the doctors would say,
fever, occasioanl sickness and bad tum tum.

So at 4am this morning I had Ryan, Elliot, Mr Darcy AND Alisha
in my bed! Good job it's a king size bed!

Off to see if I can get a refund on my over priced cross stitch skeins today.
Also going to buy some pink, cream and white furry fabric (she doesnt have red or burgandy)
to make some furry cushion covers.
I can get enough material to make four of one colour for the price one pre-made cover would cost me. SO i can make three or four of each colour for the cost of four single covers pre-made.
It also gives me something to do,
Stops my fingers getting too stiff with my arthritis

other than that and nursing two slightly improved poorly boys
no plans for the day
(oh apart from snapping everything Alisha does)

Have a nice day, and i hope all you ahyfever sufferes arent suffering too badly!

Re: DAILY THREAD - Tuesday 20th June 2006

Morning CJ, Hope the boys recover soon. I know its a horrible thing for them to have as both Darryle and Sean had hay fever as children (tots) thankfully they grew out of it. Untill last year at 14 Darryle got it back along with asthma.
Anyway the weather is briliant here today. Will get lots of washing done.
Going to be chaseing my tail today, lots to do!
Catch you all latter.
Have a good one.

Re: DAILY THREAD - Tuesday 20th June 2006

Mornin'
Sun is desperately trying to break through and occasionally manages for a few minutes. There is a cool breeze.
Day off today. Busy looking for a new job. Bombarding Pets at Home LOL.
Am about to phone and see if I can get an appointment to have my eyebrows threaded. Have the dentist at 4 . I hate the dentists, am only going to see the Hygenist but thats traumatic enough for me as they have to freeze my mouth before i let them near me with other strange jabby instruments.
Hope you all have a great day xxx

Re: DAILY THREAD - Tuesday 20th June 2006

Hayfever is bugging me a bit too. Sniffly and stinging eyes. In the office but would rather be anywhere else! I have an overwhelming desire to 'nest' and tidy/decorate/change things round . . . can't do that from here

It's sunny/cloudy today but not as humid; just about right

Will spend some time today looking for some part time interior design courses that I can embark on once into maternity leave.
