Re: Dm?

Still haven't met, Moli
My plans have been scuppered a bit by Min's illness and OH's absence so at present the kittens have the whole of the second floor and stairs, Min has the middle floor to herself, kitten free, and Dinah is in blissful ignorance on the ground floor and garden!
I am also quite kee on getting this toilet training going well, so don't want them to be too far from 'their' loo until I'm confident they've got the hang and will realise that the downstairs cloakroom is also a suitable place to go.
Strangely I was going to take the kits downstairs, one at a time, last night for gentle introductions but they had obviously had a busy day tiring each other out and just wanted to sleep in their sub-bed nest. Maybe tonight? Maybe not - i may be engrossed in the football.
Anyway, there's no rush, they'll have years and years together.
I'll post pics when I have them

Re: Dm?

Do you think Dinah doesn't know they are there?

Re: Dm?

Yes - soggy kitties from being snuffled and washed - particularly around the rear end! So tempting for a dog!

Re: Dm?

Well - first meeting.
Kittens had been in the living room for about half an hour and were quite content doing kitten things - tasting houseplants and watching the ball on the cricket on TV etc. So, I thought they were happy with their environment, went to get Dinah from the kitchen (with her lead on). We had only gone a couple of steps into the hall when Chester came charging out - stopped - puffed himself up like a little sea-urchin and spat - pitt, pitt, pitt. Dinah was soooooooooo excited, but quiet and not jumpy. We went into the living room and Dinah lay beside me and quivered but the kitties weren't having any (neither of them grew up with a dog).
So, kitties back to their domain (after being sworn at by Mini - again!), Dinah in her bed, looking guilty. I keep telling her she's done nothing wrong but she really wonders where those little fluff balls have gone and what she did to make them go away.

More adventures soon - hopefully with progress.

Re: Dm?

Dinah behaved like a proper lady. Maybe next time they won't surprise each other and the fluffballs will decide she's really a neat new toy (mountain).
