Daily Shred /thread - fridayA rather sleepy good morning here. Elliot woke about an hour ago, and started asking to come downstairs. HE refuses to go back to sleep. Alisha is having a mad half hour, charging about all over the palce. Today I am going to pop to town (at a decent time of course) And get some groceries. Also going to make a few cat toys I read about in cat world. One is a box with a paw sized hole in, put some dry food or treats in it and let the cats "fish" for food. Another is get a small drinks bottle, cut a few holes in the sides, again out some dry food or treats in, and let the cats roll it about to get the food out. Just thought it might keep them entertained for a while. RYan ahs a birthday party tomorrow so today Iahve to pick a present for an 8 year old boy, NOT as easy as it sounds! He is footy mad though, so see what I can come up with. Have a nice day everyone.

Beautiful, bright sunny morning here!! Domi woke me at 5.15 with 'I wanna poo'  thankfully he was still his nighttime nappy at that point  Today I have to wait for the bed delivery people to call me to give me a time to deliver Dominik's new bed. I've bought a lovely brass bed for him which should see him through into his teenage years whilst not being too big for him at this point in time.This will free up the cot(bed) to be turned back into a cot and put in our room ready for junior #2. I do need to pop into town and get Dominik measured for a blazer for next term. As it'll set me back £60 I need to make sure there's plenty of growing room!!! I'll get him a school cap while I'm at it and then he'll be all kitted out for going up through the school . . . the higher up he gets the stricter they get over uniform Some ironing and housecleaning to do and apart from that, keeping Domi entertained. Right - I'm just been summoned and advised that Dominik has 'done a wee-wee' so I must attend to potty duty  |

Fair day here....not much planned, got a doctors appointment later....and then will be helping prepare some of the food (cooking wise) for the party tomorrow... Enjoy your day all! |

Mixed weather this morning, dry and warm but a lot of cloud...... No gardening for me today....I've got a painful back, probably due to lifting a 3 year old a lot yesterday! Hope you all have a nice day!  |

Gone a bit overcast now. Am waiting for a delivery of chippings which is due anytime so we can start using the garage altho it's still not completely finished |
