Daily shred thread- Tuesday

Well managed to type the heading with no typos today

A dull and damp start tot he day. Garden got a much needed watering as it rained overnight.

Got to go to Ryans school today, a kid we had problems with last year has started bullying him again. We used to let this kid come play and come round for tea etc, as you do with your kids friends, then things started going missing from the house, money, toys, etc.
Then one day right in front of me the kid started punching ryan extremely hard. he's a year old than ryan.

Anwyay yesterday he discovered Ryan wears reading glasses, and has been chanting silly songs about people wearing glasses being thick, and said if ryan shows up at school today he's going to break his nose, and if Ryan tells anyone he's going to kill him!

I saw this kid trying to set fire to ryans jacket last year.
So I have said to Ryan I will speak to the headmaster today, and if this kid does anything else to Ryan I am calling the police.

I ahvent bothered going to the parents, theyre not interested you can tell. the poor kid is walking the streets in his school uniform from about 7.30am and is still out walking the streets up to ten at night. the parents are always "asleep", and (not to judge really) theyre recycling boxes are full of beer bottles, whiseky bottles etc ( all three of them) by a tuesday night, and rubbish is collected friday!

Other than that and popping out for black sacks and loo rolls nothing planned.

Made a start on a small cross stitch yesterday.

The whole house seems to be sniffling and coughing today! Hayfeever and asthma or bugs i dont know!

Have a nice day everyone

Good morning. Dry but dull here. It rained all day yesterday, so I am wondering what I will find at the allotment today - squishy strawberries I suspect, and many of those still to come may be affected by the dreaded blue fur (botritis? sp?) So, jam-making this afternoon (why is it you regularly throw tons of jars into the recycling but when you make jam or chutney there's none to be found in the house? Another of life's mysteries).
No news here - the best way to be, news is invariably drama/crisis.

Morning, had loads of rain overnight. Bright but still a little damp underfoot at the moment.

Getting things ready for Thomas' school trip on Friday, he's going to Noah's Ark in Bristol and he's really looking forward to it.

Having to wait in again for Mercedes to pick up this Air Con pipe. When I phoned them yesterday to find out where the van was nobody knew anything about having to pick the pipe up but they've told me they'll be here sometme today so another day wasted for me.

Morning all. Sun is just breaking through now so hopefully it will warm up a little soon. Off for my weekly visit to Porsha this afternoon. She is three weeks old today. Looking forward to seeing her as she will be well up on her feet and running round by now

Hope you all have a lovely day

Re: Daily shred thread- Tuesday

Morning all!!! Poor Ryan, CJ . . . bullying is horrid. I hope the school get their finger out and do something about it - the threat of police should have them scuttling around I should think

Lots of lovely rain last night means that some of the newish plants in my front garden might survive a little longer. I physically can't carry a watering can from the back garden, through the basement, to the ground floor and out of the front door at the moment and hubby's usual answer is either 'what, now?' or 'in a minute', so the poor plants were gasping!!

But it's meant to be 30 degrees again by the weekend . . .hopefully just hot and not humid

Hubby has a flat battery in his car this morning (left his lights on last night), so is in late. And not one rant or swear word uttered I'm amazed

Hope the strawbs are OK, DM . . . and that the Mercedes dealer picks up his consignment Nae so you're not stuck in the house all day . . . and that you enjoy your time with Porsha, Fran.

Re: Daily shred thread- Tuesday

Well i tihnk our case at the school was quote aptly illustrated today.
The child in question kept calling ryan over, trying tog et him away from me> When he thought I wasnt looking he was waving his fist at Ryan. I turned around, and in front of two school parent governers and the ehad master said politely " could you stay away from ryan please"
To get the reply "f*** off you fat cow, i wasnt F****** talking to you was I"
Luckily incident witnessed! Have been assured this matter will be dealt with, and infromed this child has been suspended six times this year alone for bullying!

Hope those strawberries are ok, coooorrrr I wouldnt half love some with cream, mmmmm.

And *he* calls *Ryan* thick? Tsk! Glad for your sake that the bully isn't cleverer, I suppose. Hope you actually get some help sorting it, rather than the usual bleats.

Work-day here. Took the bike to work and despite that it didn't rain. Soooo glad to be back to riding, even though the 30-40 mph limit on the way and 10 minute ride don't make for many thrills as such. Taking the long way back home, better for the engine (and me).

Rover's snazzy new (Kitty Cat B.) harness arrived today, so you'll get photos sooner than you deserve! Left him flat on his back in a most indecorous pose with his nose burried in the new cat-nip toy. Whoever said cats were graceful, quiet, cleanly beasties...
