Morning all, it has been raining through the night here. Looks set to brighten up this morning, so fingers crossed.

Haven't got a deal planned for today...just pottering about tidying/cleaning etc...

Hope you all have a lovely Wednesday

Re: Daily Shred Thread / Wednesday..

morning all
Welcome to the house of germs!
I started yesterday with what I thought was another sinitus attack, but then elliot has had a constnat runny nose for almost a week, and mine's gone that way. Now Ryan has woken up like it too this morning.

We all feel slightly groggy, but ok considering. Am just totally fed up of a runny nose!!

Been raining here too overnight, great stuff, less watering the garden! (with the weeds that pretend thier catnip!!!!)

A bright start tot he day here, not toow arm yet though.

Walking Ryan to school, instead of letting him walk with his friends, cos of this bully, who, incidentally, was kept in at all play times yesterday! We'renot sure how long this is for, but it's good news for ryan. But as Ryan has walk past this kids house to get to school he's still a little worried, even though the walk to school takes 3 minutes a lot can happy to a kid in that time.

No real plans for today, a spot of weeding out front, and some cross stitching. Got two delivieres today, iw as out yesterday. one recorded and one DO NT BEND lol. I think one could be a cross stitch pattern, not sure on the other, got a few things on thier way.

Look, I've waffled on again! have a nice day y'all

Re: Daily Shred Thread / Wednesday..

Woke up to grey skies this morning but it's now bright and sunny! Have been to the hospital this morning for my Ani-D injection as I have Rhesus negative blood, I had to raise an eyebrow and supress and snigger when the midwife said . . . right, just a little p***k in your bottom now

Dominik is being VERY difficult both at nursery and at home. The school suspect it could be increased awareness of his baby brother, but it is starting to become a bit of a concern as he's being agressive towards the other children and is displaying similar tendencies towards the cats at home. It's so out of character that I'm a bit worried

Right . . . off to earn a few pennies

Re: Daily Shred Thread / Wednesday..

Por Domi - it's a bit of a hurly-burly time for him.

So, you're sitting by the fire with your OH, he's on the chair, you're sitting on the floor leaning back into his legs. It's warm and blissful. Then he says - "Yola, I love you sooooo much, I'm going to get another little wifey, and she will be your friend and you will be able to go shopping and dress up and eat ice cream together and we shall be such a happy family; it will be so wonderful........."
Your reaction?
And Domi is only 3.

How can you tell him that the love-pool grows, to accomodate the members of the cadre? Perhaps use the cats as an example ..... the older ones haven't been loved less when new ones come.

Good luck!

Re: Daily Shred Thread / Wednesday..

Yola It is a confusing time for the wee man. The best advise I can give is to keep reasuring him that you love him and make him feel important being a big brother!

Well my day started well, we all slept in
Went to the doc as he only gave me a week's supply of painkillers, not true he gave me 90 only the chemist forgot to tell me I had a balance to pick up . Then went to the dentist as my face is still sore, only one dentist on, two on holiday and one off sick have to go back tomorrow at 9am
Hope your all having a better day than me

Thanks DM and Jac. We're trying our best to reassure the little fella but we do have to balance that with not reinforcing positive aspects of his bad behaviour *shrugs* sometimes it does feel that whatever you do it's not right!!!
