New bike - bargain

Today John & I went to get our daughter a new bike for her birthday on Wed. We saw a lovely one in the local bike shop & thought it was well worth the £120 asking price. But decided we'd go & look in Decathlon first. When we got there we saw 2 lovely bikes very similar to the £120 one. When we checked out the price one was only £49

It's fabaroony! So whilst they were getting it ready for us, we walked around the store. Ended up buying a drink holder / bottle, a helmet, a rucksack, 2 pairs of kids walking boots, 2 pairs of kids sandals & a tent! All for just a little more than we were origionally going to spend on the bike. Well chuffed.
We got one of these new tents, they are like the kiddies pop up tents, but are more sturdy, you take it out of the bag - chuck it up in the air & it whips together

then you peg it down. It's amazing.

That tent looks good....makes putting it up so much easier.......

Yes it's great. The girls enjoy camping in the garden, but we don't have a tent anymore (well we do now) so we can use it in the garden & also sometimes I go away with my friend & she has a huge tent, so we can cook / chill out / store things in hers & me & the girls can just sleep in ours (which is a 3 man - not a 2 like the photo)

It's a big outdoor / sports store chain. There's one in Merry Hill.They are really good.
