We were sheltering in a derelict hotel in Greece the other week as there was a thunder storm and my 4 year old says "Look a light switch"!! It was a used tampon stuck to the wall |

that made me laugh!! That reminds me of the time my nephew came to visit my mum. She told him to shut the door as there was a draft coming in.....he ran into the hall, and stared at the door. He then turned to mum and said "I can't see the giraffe coming in!"........i have never laughed so much...and the poor darling couldnt understand why! |

The very young mind intersts me..it fascinates me how from little, we learn so much and 'soak' it all in; and how the young minds can decifer things in their own way and how the way they would deal with an issue could and often does totally contrast to that of an adult! When i was younger i remember being totally obsessed at how people saw me when i closed my eyes-was a good few years before someone explained to me that just cause i couldnt see them that didnt mean they couldn't see me. I also used to think that the world just stood still when it was bedtime...wasn't until one night, i must have been about 3, and i awoke from bed, about half nineish, and found my mother having a sandwhich and watching the telly-totally stumped me that the world didnt shut off when i went to sleep I Have a nephew who still to this day thinks that rabbit poo is nesquick! |
