Daily thread - Monday

Morning all.
really hot again here.
Builders are back in town today - after 2 weeks of not being here much (because we've had the glazer / the roofer here)
I'm taking Ashleigh to the hospital today - to have her plaster removed from her arm.
Then off to work, then to the cactus compost shop later then to the vets with a couple of cats.
Then it will be bedtime!
What a busy bee I am.

Re: Daily thread - Monday

Ordinary Monday here. Rain drizzling down in the way it does when it's planning on doing it a long time, so no Rover-walks today. (Quick run to the pampas-gras and back doesn't count.) Better half home not feeling well (not ordinary btw.) so Rover will have a playmate to compensate for his self-inflicted confinement. Strangely enough R. likes pouring rain and a good shower, but not this constant stuff.
I'm off to work, we're reasonably busy at the moment. Which is good.

Hope the sun reaches those of you who can go out!

Re: Daily thread - Monday

It's blisteringly hot here today. Car was saying it was 25 degrees at 9am Our poor little air conditioner unit is working super-hard today . . . I just hope it doesn't conk out

Am suffering for the couple of hours I spent sitting on the beach yesterday without suncream on. I used to spend all day on a beach without suncream so the strength of the sun took me by surprise. I'm also feeling extremely tired as Dominik was up 1/2 the night (due to not being tired caused by an extensive sleep in the car on the way back from the coast).

Slept with the fan on and have to admit to not getting too hot in the night as a result which was nice. However stupid Balie wailed on-and-off for most of the night was led to even more broken sleep. He's going to end up getting shut downstairs if he carries on like that

Dominik's sports day this afternoon . . . pre-nursery have a little race at the start of proceedings so we're going along to see his 1st ever sports day. Ahhh. Bless
