A day at the beach

On Sunday we went to West Bay in Dorset following DM presenting it here on CP. WHAT a lovely place! The beaches have quite steep slopes but one (East Beach) is gentler so we spent time there with Domi. He loved it . . . from a child who last year was VERY wary of the sea/seaside, this year he had a whale of a time!!!

Here's the boy with Daddy, having a play at the waterside where he splashed happily for hours.

And this is the same beach at the base of the cliff that DM showed us earlier, at about midday. You can see how quiet it is:

We headed off for lunch at about 1.30 - not the place DM recommended but somewhere a little more mundane but nevertheless with excellent food. However upon surfacing again at about 4, the place was over-run by the most gross chavs you could image!! I just don't know where they all came from!!!

We went and sat on another, steeper beach where I perched near the top (I would have slid on the pebbles and possibly hurt myself as my centre of gravity is completely different now). Here's me with a bump that surprised even me with it's size

On the way back, Domi was looking out to sea and I caught him looking faraway and thoughtful . . .I love this pic:

And finally - this is another shot of the harbour from a different angle to DMs pic. It's a small, quaint inlet, but sadly my parting memory of it was an unprovoked string of insults from the grossest of gross chavs (unprovoked inasmuch as I was pushing a pushchair and it was easier for his shuffling, uncouth rabble to walk around me in the tight space available than it was for me to try and circumnavigate them, sprawled as they were across the whole walkway)!!! Hey ho .

Umm - I'll be 30 weeks this coming Thursday, but everyone says I look as if I'm about to drop though it FEELS like I'm about to drop, big, heavy and uncomfortable

Lovely Yola.
I'm sorry about the chavs - hope they weren't locals.
Lovely pic of Domi thinking - isn't it huge? Where does it stop?
And I'l not mention the bump - it hardly shows!
