Daily thread -tuesday

Good morning all. had a cool start to the day but it is now warming up. Ben so hot the last few days,

Finally starting to feel some improvement , no sore thorat at all. But ahve copious amounts of ultra violet (couldnt spell flurorescent) stuff coming out of my nose! hopefully a sign that the AB's are clearing my tubes finally!
still cant hardly hear anything, I know i have a slight hearing loss anyway, but this is madness.

Again, no pans for the day. Maybe sit in the garden later if there isnt a high pollen count today. Last thing I need is hayfever probs on top of this lot lol.

My rash has now gone from around my waist, almost! but now I ahve a different looking one going down my legs! god knows what that one is!

Have been looking up vitmains and minerals that may help me. Also got docs again this friday.

Glad to hear your feeling a little better Carly x

Its boiling again here already, didnt sleep much last night - far too hot even with fans going.

Not alot planned today - should be doing housework but its too much like hard work in this heat - LOL.

Just watch and play with the little ones, with Violet and Mau Mau in and out ! x

Re: Daily thread -tuesday

Oh my, it's hot.
had to go to the allotment after 2 days off. Picked big bowls of strawberries, raspberries and teyberries, dug my garlic and hung it to dry out (30 heads, am pleased with the crop) and dug some potatoes and pulled beetroot for today. It was incredibly hot!
Am surviving my MIL being here. Shouldn't be unkind - she has been to town and bought Dinah a ball for her birthday!

Re: Daily thread -tuesday

It's super-hot here too!! I have taken to sleeping with a fan on and it's lovely!! The noise scares Domi (we bought it for him), but it's just the thing I need to get a good night's sleep!

The little a/c unit we have in the office is barely managing to hold its own . . . the temp is rising and everyone is moving slowly and looking dopey.

I have a client coming in the afternoon. We've been doing some telesales into the US for him, and to be honest I have to tell him that (a) his list is rubbish (b) the fax mailer (that he insisted HE designed rather than us) is rubbish and (c) his follow up letter and leaflet are rubbish too, hence he's getting zero recall and zero interest I don't think he's take too kindly to that but hey - I'm not going to be blamed for us doing a rubbish job when the 'tools' are not too clever.

Apart from that? I think when we get home (Dom and I) we'll stay indoors again. It was too hot to go out yesterday, and having taken that darned magnolia out there is now precious little shade in the garden Still - in a couple of weeks we'll be going to a big architectural plant nursery in Chicester to find an evergreen, small tree as replacement

Boiling hot here, too, today. We've got a company-wide meeting in a bit on the top floor, which'll be boiling, but the boss kindly bought a fan and put it up there. Will also bring some relief after, since my colleague works in the study where it's even hotter (no direct windows to the outside that can be opened, and 13 machines including his laptop adding their heat to the mess).
