He's clearly highly distressed and looking to escape. If he gets any more relaxed after his op, you'll have to *carry* him over to the food and the litter-tray. He's not Ninja - just a few weeks ago you were worrying about him being too much of a bossyboots. He's found his safe place, where he has mates and where things make sense and are predictable.
