Daily Shred Thread / Thursday

Morning all. Looks like it will be another scorcher of a day! Not much planned today, except some tidying round the house and garden. Couldn't get the boys in last night for some reason They just kept darting from garden to garden and wouldn't come to call. It's like they were laughing at me Have been worried sick all night, luckily they are both here this morning waiting for their breakfasts Naughty boys!!

Re: Daily Shred Thread / Thursday

It's cloudy and a little less humid here. Domi's still messing around at night; had to get up 3 or 4 times which has left me a bit bleary-eyed.

Spoke with the vet this morning and Darcy ate a little during the night. He seems brighter and is flirting with everyone (that's ma boy!!!), but they still think they'll be keeping him in for about 72 hours . . . better safe than sorry.

I'll try and pop up and see him again this afternoon.

Also, want to go to a meeting this evening at the council offices. It's about some chalk mines that are under properties in my area. You may remember seeing on the news a few years back about some little terraced houses that fell into a hole that suddenly appeared . . . well that was across the road from me!! They've been carrying out tests for voids beneath quite a large area (including under us) and I want to see what the findings are.

Our Italian lesson went ok last night. I was SO tired I couldn't focus though and Dominik kept coming down and interrupting. I suppose it wasn't the best day to start on, what with Darcy being at the vets and Domi being unwell to. Still - hopefully next week will I will be more focused and attentive.

Re: Daily Shred Thread / Thursday

Its still pouring with rain here.

We have had terrible rain during the night/early morning with thunder etc...

Violet is currently out! and Mau Mau back in asleep by me, they are in and out in and out, dont think Mau understands rain LOL she hates it.

Off later to take part in a detergent survey discussion I have been doing over the past 2 weeks, ive used their liquid and I get £20 for taking part - so cant be bad!

Thinking of Carly and poor Princess - sending ((((((hugs)))))) and ((((((good vibes)))))) x

Was very dull and really heavy showers this morning. Brightened up now this afternoon so went shopping for a new canister cleaner after my little one went bang on me yesterday and set the smoke alarm off

Couldn't find one I liked so it's gonna be a phonecall to Oreck later me thinks to order a replacement one or try their new cordless Electrikbroom
