pot belly???

Bright-water looks like he's got a little pot belly. He's been wormed regularly, so I don't think it is worms. I did think he wasn't gaining weight like Lightning, but I weighed them both last night and they are within 4g of each other.

Is a little pot belly normal in kittens?

Cheers

Olivia

A little, yes, but if you have concerns - vet?

Re: pot belly???

we're back to the vet Tues next week for their jabs - so I'll check then. Just thought you guys might have some ideas before then.

Olivia

PS If I was really worried I'd be off to the vet tomorrow morning!

No worries, no doubts you would. If you're not more concerned than that, then I'm sure he'll keep until Tuesday.

Worms is the most obvious cause of pot bellies in kittens. Could be wind? I'd certainly seek reassurance from the vet..

What wormer do you use on them? Usually it does indicate worms but he may be just on the plump side....if you're worried, I'd take him to the vets for peace of mind.
