What are the spiders? Seen it, but never knew what it was... always been a bit careful when on CP as I terrified of spiders and didnt want to open a thread to find one lurking...... |

They are bits of computer code that sort through the net for the search-pages (such as Google, or in this case Yahoo). They make a sort of index - like the one you find at the back of a text-book - so that the searches are quicker.
